New to Southern Vectis in 1976, operated for 15 years by Nelson Coaches (NIBS) of Wickford and owned by John & Chris since 2005. Restored from 2010 onwards, 652 was repainted in late 2016 and returned to the road in 2017. The bus made its first visit to the Isle of Wight for 27 years in October 2017 to take part in the Beer, Buses & Walks weekend in support of the IW Bus Museum and CAMRA.

  • With a lot of work by Sue, some of the seats came up as well as the one in the bottom right. Others have been a bit more difficult, but give that 'in service' look appropriate to a 1986 repaint of a 1976 bus.
